**My Review**

4 stars

This romance was oh so sweet and cute. I found it beyond endearing that Maxwell, this humongous brute of a man was tamed by this wisp of a girl - so freaking adorable! You have to be careful when writing about a character with a disability; so many things could go wrong, so many people could be offended some how, so many people could be triggered. I think Nicole James did a great job of portraying Malee's disability and the way the boys responded to it. I liked that she incorporated a bit of the tradition that encompassed Malee's culture. I liked that the relationship could have been perceived as insta-love, but it still developed at a decent pace. Max was determined to do right by Malee and respect her and her family, even when he wasn't given that same respect back.

This book wasn't as dramatic and entertaining as Book 1 in the series, but it was still enjoyable. I look forward to Liam's story.
